Pet First Aid level 3
We are an approved centre for ProTraining UK and as such deliver their level 3 course
Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3 (VTQ) covers much more details about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course has been designed to give the pet professional and owners much more information in order to be able to detect early when something is wrong and give the appropriate care. It is aimed to meet the level 3 pet first aid requirements for pet professionals laid down by the latest government and council guidance.
You can do this level 3 qualification on its own, so you do not have to do a level 1 or 2 beforehand.
The course also covers the anatomy and physiology of animals and different first aid treatments that are available. Although the treatment is basically the same between dogs and cats, the advanced course has a dedicated section to cats. Protrainings can also provide a free business certificate to place on the wall of your business to show your clients you are all trained.
This course is a ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ) and is ideal for pet professionals or individuals.
This course can be taken in two ways:
As an online course - With this, you work through the course over 6 hours and learn from the videos but there is no practical module. We do recommend that you complete a practical module and you can add a practical module at any time.
As a "Blended course" - Blended training is where you complete the online module (6 hours) and a practical module (approx 6 hours) locally with an approved instructor where you also cover practical subjects to gain the full qualification certificate.
On our course dates , we have put down the "Practical" days for the "Blended" course. So you just decide which date is best for you to attend for the practical session. You MUST complete the online part, BEFORE attending the practical day.
To book on, just get in touch and we will email you the invoice for the practical day only and the joining instructions and link for the online part and how to find us for the practical day. You pay online for the online part yourself when you first log on.
