Pet First Aid Course level 2
This course is in no way meant to replace your Vet in an emergency situation, indeed we emphasise seeing your Vet, however it will teach you the skills you need to care for your pet and keep them in the best condition until your Vet is able to assess them.
It follows the universal aims of all first aid, “preserve life, prevent further injury and promote recovery.” We think all our friends and loved ones deserve this level of care and attention, so how about your pet as well?
Pet First aid is a training course that instructs you how to care for your domestic pets should they become injured. It is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to act quickly in an emergency. The course can be delivered with an instructor who will cover the theory, answer questions and a practical hands on session, or alternatively through distance video based e-learning, whichever is the best course for you.
On completing the course you will receive a certificate valid for three years, however it is the knowledge, skills and confidence that you will achieve that could make a difference to your pet.
The course is for all those who are responsible for pets, and whilst not a necessity, how much happier would you feel if you knew anyone who looked after your pet, when you are not there, also had these skills as well.
