Mental Health in the Workplace
The most important thing about Mental Health and our Wellness, is actually doing something about it. Lets talk about it, because that is a really good start point and it's not just negative it is also about positives, so what can be done to improve it ?
Although the course title says "Workplace", it is equally applicable to all community settings, so everyone can achieve on the courses, not just employees and employers.
We run our courses as an approved centre for ProTrainings UK, and you can see their Training Quality Assurance below.
Please note that our Mental Health in the Workplace courses include and follow Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance in covering :
"The 6 Stressor Areas" and "Management Standards".
Because they follow the HSE guidance the qualifications are therefore recognised by the HSE.
This is really important, because if a Mental Health course does not cover the 6 stressor areas and the management standards, then it will not currently be recognised by the HSE. So please, even if you don't train with us, make sure the course you do somewhere else , is recognised by the HSE.
Mental Health in the Workplace levels 1, 2 & 3
We can offer these qualifications at levels 1, 2 & 3
All of the courses can be done remotely via ZOOM, that we will set up for you by sending you a link to get onto it, so once you have actually booked on we do the rest.
All you need to do any remote training is internet access , a video webcam and microphone so usually a laptop/tablet/mobile phone, and a quiet area preferably with a table.
We can also deliver these courses face to face, subject to a covid19/corona virus risk assessment and precautions being in place.
Anyone can start and take any of the levels, and it is up to you to decide which level you require, so we have put a bit of guidance below, but it is not set in stone.
Level 1 usually a 3 hour (half day) course for those who require a basic understanding, so is often seen as an entry level and good all round awareness.
